Periodontal disease is the most frequently occurring clinical condition in both dogs and cats, as such it represents a significant proportion of practice workload.
Owners cannot easily see it. But you can.
Unless disease is at an advanced stage it is often very difficult for owners to see there is a problem, and most are surprised when a diagnosis is made.
This major initiative is designed to highlight the problem to owners so they seek early examination.
